The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has implemented new axle mass concessions for heavy vehicles that meet ADR 80/04 (Euro VI) emission standards. The changes increase allowable mass on steer axles, expand twin-steer spacing limits, and introduce flexibility through a mass transfer allowance

Important: If you operate a PBS-approved vehicle or run under access permits, you will need to update your PBS Vehicle Approval and relevant permits to reflect these new mass limits and configurations.
